It’s exhausting being a MAGS!!

It is completely exhausting being a MAGS! Especially when it is Year of the MAGS and there is so much to do!

I have taken on projects this year, which are fabulous, but I find there doesn’t seem to be enough hours in the day! I seem to take one step forward and two steps backwards!

Over the past two months I have started MAGS, set up a merchandise online store for MAGS (here if you want to buy something fabulous!! Click here!! ) and started a new job.

All of which I have done in a country I only moved to in September last year!

Now, I like to think I am exhausted from doing all of this…but I think it is also down to oncoming menopause! I used to be able to do so much more, work so many more hours and not blink.

I now find I look forward to going to bed earlier, by middle of the day I feel tired…this is NOT COOL!! I have been told that the signs of menopausal fatigue include decreased wakefulness, lowered attention span, mental fuzziness, irritability and memory lapses.

Well, I am tired of this whole oncoming Menopause thing today! I have so much I want to achieve, I just don’t have time to be tired (and yes, it is making me moody and cranky that I am tired!!)

I AM TIRED OF BEING TIRED!! (yes, I am yelling!!)

So, what am I doing right now…well, apart from writing this…I am also listening to some fantastic Eighties music, in the hope that it wakes me up enough to keep going with my list of work to be done!!

I find if I try and ‘trick’ myself, I can get a bit of energy back! Yes, I know it sounds ridiculous…but it seems to work!

So, yes, currently playing Guns N’ Roses – Sweet child o mine!! Yes, soon my body will think I am young again!! Singing it at the top of my voice (oh, bet my neighbours love me right now!!) and will probably have a dance around the lounge room before hubby gets home!! That should get me going!!

What do you do to keep your energy levels up?

Mags xx
